Many articles have been written on this entity called NIGERIA. 90% of such articles definitely are about the bad side, the ugly faces of NIGERIA and NIGERIANS. Infact Nigeria as a country has been dubbed a nation of "one week, one trouble"
Isnt that true? troubles and kasala compete for space on the front pages of our national dailies. If it is not a religious crisis up in the north, it will definitely be pipeline bursting down in the NigerDelta and in some cases slap me, i slap you charade in the national assembly, and sometime political wahala all over the country. Wetin self? Na by force to practice demoCRAZY?
We kept saying Nigeria is a failed state. How true is that? Do we really have a "go slow" man at the helm of affairs? Is he really functioning on just one kidney? (aint nothing bad in that), afterall he still has his two cerebral hemispheres intact or na one cerebral lobe he get too? is he not suppose to be assisted by Goodluck or na just name that one self get?
In Nigeria, we do hear of city of light, city of angels, sun city and all those glamourous places. Even if we havent been to any of them, we definitely have been to the City of darkness or is it country of darkness? This is very laughable, the best clue a pilot have of entering naija airspace is DARKNESS. Take a look at this announcement on a flight from UK.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot. I assumed we all have a splendid flight from the heathrow international airport. Though we are yet to receive confirmation from the tower here in Nigeria, thats if there will be any but i can definitely confirm to you that we are in Nigeria airspace cos if you look out your window, you will know why. WELCOME TO THE CITY OF DARKNESS.................LOL"
Yeah, we are rebranding. Ofcourse we are, isnt the campaign to rebrand being led by an amazon?I hope her case wont be like the likes of RIBADUS and EL_RUFAI. Good country, good people............very laughable.
I guess we were rebranding in Onitsha, Anambra state when a prominent actor and a forerunner of the rebranding campaign was kidnapped. Or is it rebranding where the governement is ready and anxious to spend billions of dollars on hosting a youth soccer championship yet the schools in the country are shut down cos of strike? What will be the future of our youths? Strike in every sector of the economy. The banks lie to us on daily basis, haba...........na wa o. Our funds aint even safe no more.
Are we even thinking at all in this country? Why host other youths when your own future leaders are wasting away? Come on, can someone please get to them in that "asshole" rock that they are acting like assholes.
Industries are closing up daily and relocating to Ghana. God, Ghana of all places. the same country whose citizens were polishing our shoes for us some years back? To add salt to injury, we kept having the delusion that we are "GIANT OF AFRICA". Giant indeed. Are we still giant? we are not even Cockroach self.
Na wa o. I am sure when you read this, what will come to your mind probably will be "what then can i do". Belief me we can do a lot, a lot. Lets start from our own micro-environment. Start from your own room, your family, your house. cleanse them of this virus call CORRUPTION, hopefully it will extend to "asshole" rock and maybe to the boxers, wrestlers and the chair throwers in both upper and lower chambers.
Enough of Naija issue jare.
Let's get on the GBAMinized level now.
What is GBAMinization? The word GBAMinization has been described by diffrent people to mean different things. some said it is "razzed",some said it is an advert for something, some just said it is a call for attention (which may be true anyway), afterall the word is getting the attention, aint it?
Have we ever queried the meaning of anyword in the dictionary?. Think about it. What if i say GBAM means money, what are we going to do?
Watch out on this page for the meaning of the word GBAM and what it stand for and what we want to achieve by it.
ARE YOU GBAMINIZING NOW?

I have been thinking about all these happening in my Wonderful Country for a long time. Sad things keeps pumping out in the news regarding leaders and their misuse of Power and position. I wonder what future we the youths have or the future the ones coming generation after us will have. Fine Doctor, we can start the cleaning from individual homes but the community in general affects us all more that we can imagine. I believe We really still have good people in the country but the rate the goodness keeps dropping is scary.(By goodness, I mean people with Moral and Decency.) I know we just cant stop talking.
ReplyDeletekeep it up GBAMinizing Master, one day we will see differences.

Little drops of water, they say, makes a mighty ocean. Don't just stop saying it 'cos someday, some set of people who are DARE-phobic will appreciate your spirit of today. One really needs to be daring in our world to make positive effects 'cos if all continue with the mind of "Let me keep my head", then very veeeeeery soon, Nigeria will be a 'WAR GROUND' or a 'DREADED ZONE'.Believe you me that an accumulation of daring youths will definitely make a HUGE effect just as it is in the Niger-Delta but this time, a POSITIVE one.
ReplyDeleteNice Job PHEMNAHS.
